Welcome to our magical world

First, a little about myself. My name is Mark Anthony Brown and I began my journey as a children's author by writing enchanting, imaginative stories for my grandchildren. My debut series, The Evergreen Wood Tales, quickly captured young readers' imaginations with its magical adventures and vibrant illustrations.

 

The first book, Rusty Bush and the Golden Acorn, introduces a whimsical world full of wonder - with many more delightful tales that followed.

 

As a parent, one of my greatest joys was reading bedtime stories to my two young sons. Their favourite book was The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien - a story that not only sparked their imaginations but helped plant the seeds of my own storytelling journey.

Building on that inspiration, I recently launched The Moonlit Bookstore Collection, a captivating short-story fantasy collection for children aged 8 to 12, where stories come to life and imagination knows no bounds.

I am currently working on developing a new collection of magical misadventures in The Tales of Mischief and Mayhem Series, filled with humour, heart, and the unexpected., as well as other projects.

​

I live in the stunning British Overseas Territory of Gibraltar, nestled on the Mediterranean coast. The area’s rich history and natural beauty continue to inspire the magical worlds I create for young readers.
